background ༝༚༝༚ i first got into coding when i was in middle school editing templates on tumblr. i randomly decided to pick it back up again as an adult, this time learning to make my own stuff. a few things about coding and neocities interested me. 1) i was feeling bored and wanted to learn something new and challenging, 2) i wanted a new way to express myself creatively, 3) the indie web community seemed cool, and 4) i wanted to spend less time on other social media. it's been fun getting to learn to do so many cool new digital things. i have a long list of things i want to add to this site and coding has been my hyperfixation recently so stay tuned for lots of updates.
theme ༝༚༝༚ i've always been obsessed with the mcbling myspace era so i knew that had to be the theme of my site. ive also been filling this site with things from my childhood that still bring me joy. this whole website is kind of like a love letter to my child self. she would loveee it!
accessibility ༝༚༝༚ this is super important to me. i'm still learning my way around coding but i've been doing my best to try to make my website accessible to everyone. it does make coding a little more challenging but i believe it's worth it. i found this site with great resources for making an accessible website.
